MAN TRAVELS TO THE PAST TO SAVE HIS WIFE, TEAMS UP WITH HIS 12 YEAR OLD SELF

Hi, welcome to MOVIE DIGEST. In this video I’m going to explain, 2022 sci-fi action movie, titled “The Adam Project”. Spoilers ahead. The movie begins in 2050, where a man named Adam Reed is stealing a time-traveler jet, and he is badly wounded. The authorities are chasing him and warn him to stop. But Adam initiates wormhole sequencing, while the authorities shoot the jet and few parts get damaged. Adam manages to enter the wormhole and gets to another timeline, leaving the authorities behind.

Meanwhile in 2022, Adam is a twelve years old and is being chased by a bully at school, because of his big mouth for a small size. The bullies finally get Adam, and beat him until he bleeds. Ellie, his mother, arrives at the school and confronts the principal, but couldn’t stop him from suspending Adam. She is upset and scolds for being such a troublemaker, as it’s his third time getting suspended. Ellie thinks she can’t understand him. Adam argues his father would, who passed away in an acciden

t a year ago. That evening, Ellie is preparing to go out on a date with her colleague, Leaving Adam alone at home. He ends up playing video games on a virtual reality device. Suddenly the power goes off, and his dog, Hawking, senses something is wrong. Hawking keeps shouting and runs into the woods. Adam follows his dog to find newly burned trees and hears some strange noise. He gets scared and runs back home with Hawkins. They hear some sound from his dad’s garage. Hawkins quickly runs towards

it, and Adam follows to check inside. He finds the injured 2050 Adam lying on the floor. The old Adam assures him he won’t hurt him, while the young Adam asks him how he got inside, as his dad’s garage was locked. Meanwhile, Hawking gets comfortable in old Adam’s lap, the Young Adam gets surprised, and realizes he is no harm and allows him into his house. The old Adam quickly looks for something to eat, and the young Adam wonders how he knows exactly to close the fridge door. He also observes ho

w old Adam gets comfortable around the house. He looks for some medicines and tries to treat his wounds. While the young Adam becomes extremely annoying, and the old Adam calls him by his name. The young Adam notices they had the same stitched marks on their neck, and wear their dad’s watch. He realizes they are the same person, and finally old Adam tells him the truth, and reveals he is from the future. He further tells him that he was supposed to land in 2018, in order to rescue someone, but h

e does not tell who. Later, he takes Young Adam to the woods where he parked his jet, and explains that his jet is coded to his DNA, but it doesn’t recognize him as he was badly injured. He uses Young Adam’s finger to unlock the jet. He takes young Adam to his jet, where he initiates a self-healing protocol as the jet took several hits before entering the wormhole. He decides to stay for a few days, until the jet gets repairs itself and he gets healed too. Young Adam asks about time travel, to w

hich he replies that when he goes back to his fixed time, and their memories will be reformed and reconcile, and everything will be normal. When Young Adam asks what the future would look like, Old Adam tells him it is tragic. Later, old Adam gets back to his father’s garage to get some rest. After young Adam has left, he looks at a picture of a woman in his hologram. Adam’s mom returns home, and he stays awake and sarcastically asks how her date went. Meanwhile, her colleague knocks on the door

to return the scarf she left in his car. Adam jumps in between and acts mean towards him, and Ellie quickly sends him away. She gets disappointed with Adam’s behaviour, while she stepped out to get some air, old Adam watches her through the window, and thinks he should have treated her better. The next morning, Ellie works on an insurance document and leaves for work. Young Adam then goes to check on old Adam, and finds him struggling with his wound. Old Adam heads to the drugstore to get himse

lf some medicines. Young Adam stops him as his clothes are inappropriate. He takes old Adam to their parent’s room, and he picks out one of his father’s jacket claiming it’s his favourite. They both head to the drugstore, and young Adam waits outside. Suddenly, his bullies show up. Old Adam gets back just in time, but he encourages young Adam to face the bullies. However, Young Adam fails to tackle them and gets beaten up. He flees from there because of the humiliation, and Old Adam deals with t

he bully himself to scare him out. He returns home to find young Adam locked himself in his dad’s garage. He goes through old Adam’s stuff, and was mad at him for not helping him against the bullies. Old Adam tells him he needs to suffer a lot before he becomes who he is now. Later he apologizes to him, but young Adam finds the photograph of a woman, and asks him about her. The old Adam gets angry and walks away. That evening, Old Adam is drinking at a bar and finds his mom sitting at the counte

r. He listens to her complaining about her son to the bartender, as she thinks her son hates her, and she wishes that she could understand him better. He quickly jumps into the conversation, telling that teenage boys are horrible, but they will always comeback for their mama’s. She was moved by that. When she tells him about his dad’s accident, he learns that she is still grieving, and thinks she should tell that to her son. When she tells him her husband had the same jacket, he quickly leaves f

rom there. Ellie rushes out to find him, but he was already gone. Meanwhile, old Adam’s chasers, led by Maya Sorian, arrive in 2022 to find him. She orders her soldiers to find Adam and bring him back to 2050. The next day, The both Adams are having lunch, young Adam learns that woman in the picture is Laura Shane, old Adam’s wife, and his mission was to save her. Young Adam learns that Old Adam actually planned to go to 2018, as she went on a mission to 2018 and never returned. The authorities

told him that her jet broke, but he gets suspicious as she was the best pilot in the program. Old Adam thinks Sorian is hiding something. Young Adam recognizes Sorian, as she is their dad’s business partner. Old Adam reveals that she is no friend, and got rich by taking control over the time travel technology, which their dad  accidentally invented in a project called The Adam Project. Just then, Hawking senses that something is coming up, seeing that Old Adam alerts young Adam, and gets ready w

ith his weapons. He blows up two soldiers who tried to get in, starts taking out the other soldiers while young Adam is watching and holding Adam’s bag. Old Adam then takes out his futuristic weapon to get rid of the remaining soldiers. He tells the young one that they should get somewhere safe. Suddenly, Sorian shows up from her jet, and tells him she didn’t kill Laura. She holds him at her gun point, and it comes to where he surrenders to her soldiers, and one of them, Christos, starts beating

him up. Suddenly, Sorian’s jet is mysteriously attacked from the woods, and it turns out to be Laura. Old Adam got surprised to see her, and they both together kill the remaining soldiers. Laura then takes them to her truck, and quickly drives away to escape from Sorian’s jet. But she keeps chasing and attacking them, Adam tells her to drive through the woods, as they were too exposed. After a close call, they finally managed to escape and arrives at Laura’s hideout by the lake. Here we learn t

hat Laura escaped from Sorian’s assassination attempt, but was not able to go back to 2050. She finds something strange in the jump logs, as there is a timejet returning from 2018, and she was sure that no one flew back to 2018. Young Adam deduces that someone went back and changed the fixed timeline. Laura then reveals it was Sorian’s jet that went back to 2018, to take full control of the Adam project, a time travel technology, before it could get online. She suggests he should go back to 2018

, to stop time travel from being invented, and put an end for all of that for a better future. Old Adam gets sad as he needs to leave Laura again, but she assures they will meet again. Suddenly an alarm rings, as Sorian has found out their hideout location, and her soldiers are on their way. Laura quickly sends them away to buy some time, and Adam gets mad over losing Laura again. Laura blows up the soldiers vehicle, and starts fighting alone with them. Adam thinks his father is the one who coul

d help and decides to find him, as he is still alive at that  time. Meanwhile, Sorian finds out Adam successfully gets to his jet and escapes. She kills Laura, and then she goes after The Adams. Old Adam skilfully turns off his jet at the right time and maneuvers to hide in a cave so Sorian cannot detect him, while she reminds him through the radio communication that Adam’s jet was heavily damaged and can only have one last jump. However, The Adams still proceeds with the plan and makes the jump

, runs into wormhole. In 2018, their dad Louis, is giving a lecture when The Adams discovers him. Old Adam warns Young Adam to not reveal the future to their dad, including his death. Old Adam enters his class and, because of his big mouth, Louis immediately recognizes Old Adam as his son. After learning what old Adam is up to, Louis refuses to help them, as it will jeopardize the fixed time. In the evening at the motel, the old Adam tells Loius they should destroy the time machine, before it’s

even invented. But Louis doesn’t change his decision, Old Adam scolds him for not being a better father, as he only cares about physics rather than his son. Louis then heads back to his own family of that fixed time. Meanwhile, Sorian meets her younger self and informs her that, Adam is planning to destroy the time machine, which is their lifetime work and their legacy. Young Adam tells Old Adam that, he does not hate his dad because he is more inclined to his work rather than his family, but be

cause he died, as It is easier to be angry at him rather than missing him. Young Adam reminds him their dad played catch with them everyday, even though he was tired on many days, and they were bad at dealing with the loss of their father. Adam knows he is giving a hard time to his mom because of that. Old Adam wonders how did he become so smart. The next day, Louis steps out of his routine, decides to spend more time with his family, which surprises Ellie. Meanwhile, The Adams get into Sorian’s

company headquarters, to destroy the world’s largest electromagnetic accelerator. Young Adam thinks it’s a terrible idea, but old Adam tells him it’s the only option they got. Young Adam was told to control a remote device, to sense any form of threats. Old Adam walks himself to the building’s front, where he finds nobody and thinks something is wrong, which makes Old Adam guess that the Sorian soldiers are waiting for their arrival, which turns out to be true. With the help of young Adam, he m

anages to take them out. When a car is about to hit Adam, it was suddenly hit by another mysterious car, giving Adam a close call, and it turns out it is Louis, who changed his mind and intends to help The Adams on their mission. Meanwhile, Young Adam, who is guarding the perimeter gets caught by Sorian. Inside  the building, Louis explains that destroying the electromagnetic accelerator won’t help, as Sorian got his algorithm and can easily rebuild it. He suggests they should take the hard driv

e containing his time-traveling enabling algorithm. When Louis pulls out the hard drive, the Sorians and the guards come in, and threaten  them to return the hard drive, but old Adam refuses to give it to her. So she brings in young Adam and keeps him at her gunpoint. everyone begs Old Adam to give up the drive, but he seems hesitant, and it turns out Old Adam is signaling at his younger self to move so he would miss Sorian’s aim. She shoots the electromagnetic accelerator instead, which release

s a huge magnetic field and attracts every object around it. The iron-armored soldiers are caught up in the field. One of them take away young Adam, but he manages to escape. Meanwhile, Christos is beating up old Adams to get back the hard drive, and the Sorians take cover while instructing him. However, Old Adam manages to kill Christos. When the trio gets united and about to leave, they were stopped by Sorians. Young Sorian points the gun at Loius, and old Sorian convinces her to shoot him, bu

t she couldn’t do it. So old Sorian takes the gun herself and aims to shoot him, but because of the bullet’s material, it deflects from its course as it is attracted by the magnetic field, and pierces through Young Sorian instead. As a result, it wipes out  Old Sorian’s existence. Louis and The Adams escape in time before the electromagnetic accelerator initiates lockdown. Later, the trio gets home safe. They play catch in the backyard, just like their old times before they disappear. And everyo

ne gets back to their own fixed time. Days later, Young Adam shows changed behaviour and love towards his mother, and  few years later, when he grows old, he finally experiences his exact first encounter with Laura. That’s how the movie ends. For more content, please subscribe.
