We fly to the Philippines for the first time! EXCITED 🇵🇭

my friends and welcome back to another video  we're currently on the island of Borneo just enjoying some of this lovely Malaysian Sun but  today is a very very very exciting day because we're going all the way to the Philippines now  I've never been to the Philippines before best never been to the Philippines before it's our  first ever time and we're so excited can't wait it's going to be so good we've been looking  forward to the Philippines for so long now and ah yeah it's only a couple of ho

urs away yeah  and we're checking out a lot of the islands there as well so ready for some beach Vibes and some  chill time yeah we have the next five five fish weeks in the Philippines just to explore as much  as possible um but yeah we've got two hours 2 or 3 hours to kill here it's actually really nice and  sunny here today um until we get our flight from cabalu all the way to Manila we spending the next  week in Manila and then hopping around the islands after that so yeah I mean trying to c

ontain the  excitement now it is Chinese New Year as you can see and and we're going to go and get ourselves  a bubble tea to put out some time before we head to the airport so our favorite thing our favorite  thing um I'm not entirely sure where we're going now but going try and find the closest bubble  te spot and yeah join us for our trip to the Philippines that was close right then oh  this is really busy in here today obviously it's Chinese New Year so I sh a lot of  people off work and it

ind of am just  not a little kid anymore get in the candy shop can I just say I don't normally be  this boring and just buy all Sushi um or salmon they just didn't have any of the  tuna ones today you're such a plain Jan when it comes to your sushi Choice we've  literally got five pieces of salmon and one piece of duck how boring if you watch the  Vlogs you know that I don't actually like fish she doesn't like fish but she likes Sushi she  likes salmon she likes tuna I do like salmon and tuna do

esn't make sense I like salmon  does not make sense y y y oh I need to get some so we're actually going to be flying  with Air Asia today yeah I think it's our third time flying on an Air Asia flight so  I I feel like they're pretty I think they're pretty good actually I'm kind of getting to and  from places in Southeast Asia so I believe is a 2hour flight from coach kallu in Borneo  to vanilla which is not too bad at all so we should hopefully there at like 8:00 p.m. we  should give us enough t

ime to drop our bags off at our hotel and then head out to get some food  or check out the local area um I'm not entirely sure where what the area is like around our  hotel but we'll find somewhere for sure um it should be quite a smooth Journey hopefully  touch W and hopefully not McDonald's yeah well I guess we'll have to find out um but yeah if  you guys have any recommendations of where to go Manila or what to do please do let us know in the  comments cuz we'll be here for a week um and yeah

excited we made it to the airport I mean we've  got loads of time so we're probably going to be spending the next like 2 hours chilling killing  some time before our flight but we are finally at Kota kabalo airport which means we that one  step closer to the Philippines now we flew into here after sandan in Borneo but I don't actually  really recognize much um I'm not entirely sure where to go yeah it looks a lot different  I don't know if we're at the international airport where we were obious

ly uh what's it  called domestic yeah this is true but we're going to check our bags in get these uh dropped  off and then we'll uh maybe get some food or see what's in the airport keep us busy for a bit  and yeah excited I don't know if this is where we go we're through Security's done we're now going  to try and find like the uh uh we're now going to try and find the duty free see what's around in  this airport immigration first oh we have to go for immigration first might not be allowed to fi

lm  this yeah probably won't I'll probably probably wi to put this down yeah right then that's the  last bit of paperwork done we're now trying to find our gate which actually is just down there  uh I was kind of expecting a bit more here we chose not to go into McDonald's it was outside  of security and I think that might be a mistake because I can't actually see much here now yeah I  think we're fully regretting our we always expect the inside of the airport to be a bit more excited  because i

t is back in the UK yeah like where the gates are normally you'd have like restaurants  and places to eat and drink but it's not looking good and I'm quite hungry actually there must  be something oh there's a noodle place right yeah I mean so this is our gate here oh and we I  think we've got around 2 hours to kill so it's a long old time and there's not much to do yeah  so if you are coming to um Kabal airport get food and wait outside don't go through to the  gate too quickly because there is

nothing yeah this is literally it you got small shops here  people wait I don't know what people oh they're boarding a flight but other than that there's  really not much here oh we really as you can see so luckily we found a Starbucks now it's  pretty much either Starbucks or noodles around the corner so we chose here we're going to get  some food bunk it down for an hour and then we'll get our flight but um yeah I mean I've gone for  just some pastry basically that's going to go for a coffee

and some snacks some little chips we look  quite nice don't they mixed root chips that quite nice yeah it's quite busy here but  there's just really not much to do so b e f there we go oatmeal latte yeah black pepper  beef lamb pie which I love my uh pie so hope that's going to be quite nice yeah it looks  nice other flavor that look beef Ragu yeah beef Ragu as well and then we also have a Aussie  sausage roll with I think mushroom mhm but I mean yeah it's all right not the best actually but  ed

make you buy more water on the plane I don't  know yeah it doesn't make sense but we're here day turns into tonight it's dark  all of a sudden so we're on the final straight now we are just about to Bo the  plane this has been a long day it's been such a long day it's been long yeah we're  tired and we're hungry we are tired and hungry it's getting dark now as well as you  can see so by the time we reach Philippines it should be pretty black but should be  night yeah night time let's go and che

ow  why I was I don't know I was saying if we would have picked seats there would be  the seat yeah we would nor the I seat yeah so we think we'll have someone next to  us yeah now here's the wait for everyone to put their stuff up and sit down this is the  long as part is boarding the plane but I'm excited here we go all sat down strapped in  although I must say being 6 foot makes this really uncomfortable I've got like no room  whatsoever my knees what's that's one thing I do find with the Air

Asia flights is they're tiny  yeah maybe they're designed for Asian people and which is like a little bit smaller than a typical  Westerner because it's not good like pure that's so bad actually so it's so like oh I just feel  so squished it's crazy like squished this is probably the smallest like leg room I've ever had  on a flight these a Agia flights so not good but I mean it's only 2 hours so it shouldn't take us  too long really um and yeah we managed to get the aisle seat in the middle se

at which is perfect so  our yeah we can niff it in out the toilet when we need to I think we jinxed it for the good for  a good yeah we did we did um I don't know what it is but we always have this stuff coming up  the uh air condens it's really weird I it's a new thing since Co not sure what it's for yeah  I'm not sure like but you can still always see this stuff coming out it's not yeah it do look  like that no cuz it's freezing as well it's not that cold it's not cold enough for that kind  of

stuff to come out but even when you get air con in your room it never comes out really cold  it's like cold air maybe it's chemicals they're poising us AR they don't know what news articles  you've been reading the Matrix I think that's a matrix so it looks like they have free Wi-Fi  on board here now I mean normally you have to pay for the Wi-Fi on play but we're going to see  if it actually works I mean I've got no data so I don't actually think it will work um I don't  data to connect to the

wifi not sure I'll give it a try um because if it does actually have free  Wi-Fi that's quite curious and if it last a whole journey that is actually quite good because no  no many PLS give you that um I rarely ever do get actually so we'll give it a try and see how  it goes ah so it says on here you can connect you can begin connecting once your seat Bel sign  has been switched off and after take off so yeah after take off you kind thing it's all right  we'll give another try when we up in the

ind of stuff and then we're trans plant  some food in the airport I've heard M airport is actually okay uh and there should be a lot  here so after that we'll then go and check into our bed our bed our hotel and then we'll call it a  night but tomorrow will be our first probably the explor room M so super excited for that but yeah  let's uh get our visas sorted and get us get some food Visa secured that was actually really quick  and easy uh they got us through so efficiently uh which is nice we

are now going to collect  our bags hopefully this is nice and quick as are because usually it takes so long isn't it I  always feel like mine comes out and then Dan is like the last on the little carriage takes ages so  yeah I mean excited we're finally in Philippines and we're going to stay here for a long time  aren't we can't wait now let's get our bags not sure if this is like a Filipino thing or not  but we've come to collect our bags and there's just trolley after trolley after trolley af

ter  trolley lined up here like I'm not sure if do it over there as well oh really oh yeah yeah it's  really strange actually yeah so maybe they're kind of put here so we can just take them I'm not  too sure yeah I think they might first come first there oh really that's quite nice yeah hopefully  they come out soon I'm not sure if they're going to come from that side or that side we guessed  it's going to be this side but maybe not I can't remember here's one and here's two wow they come  out a

I'm not entirely sure what to  have uh yeah I don't know how this works yeah we don't know how this works whe we  order first or whe we sit down or uh what maybe let's go this chair hi can I are you  doing please can I get the bacon mushroom pizza thank you very much thank you get no that's  okay fine yeah thank you very much right bone Apple teeth you're going to have to get a second  meal after that I know that is the biggest pizza I've ever seen what size of that looks nicer to  be fair tiny

I'm actually regretting my choice a little bit to be honest um yeah not great to be  fair this was the first P one we saw that wasn't like a fast food Burger chain so what have you  gone for I went for the chicken where you can't actually tell what it is but it's chicken pasta  I mean it's okay but I'm excited to try some ACT Filipino food yeah so do forgive us I know  this isn't Filipino food but we're hungry it's really late and we've got to get back to our  hotel so yeah I mean we're going t
